FNINGA Quem somos?
Pessoas que contemplam e vivem o surf como uma actividade
Espiritual.
Fninga é o nome nativo atribuÃdo a um arbusto que cresce
naturalmente nas regiões costeiras onde vivemos. Embora viva em um ambiente com
alta concentração de sal, essa planta consegue selecionar os nutrientes que lhe
são úteis, trabalhando assim a sua evolução enquanto SER.
Enquanto Humanos, particularmente os surfistas somos um
pouco parecidos com a Fninga, Seres que vivem na terra, mas que encontram a sua
alegria no oceano. Assim como Fninga os Humanos conhecem a sua evolução,
escolhendo com discernimento se “alimentar” daquilo que o faz prosperar e
dispensando aquilo que nos afasta da nossa Essência.
Inspirado por essa devoção ao oceano nasceu a ideia de criar
esse espaço de partilha, com a intenção de divulgar ao surfista nacional o que
diferentes personalidades têm feito em termos de Cultura Surf.

FNINGA Who are we?
People who live
and contemplate Surf as a Spiritual activity.
Fninga is
the name of a native shrub that grows naturally in the coastal region where we
live. Despite living in an environment with a high salt concentration, the
shrub is able to gather and utilize the nutrients it needs from the ocean –
growing and evolving itself.
As humans,
and particularly surfers, we are a bit like “fninga” - living on earth and finding
our joy in the ocean. Also like “fninga” we are able to evolve as beings by
choosing to feed on that which makes us prosper and leaving out that which is
bad for our essence.
From this
oceanic devotion came the idea of creating a space for sharing amongst the national
surf community with the intention of spreading the contributions of different
personalities in terms of surf culture.
